| These are just a
few of our favorite and most photogenic places. |

This is along the Yakima river on SR
821 in Washington state. Camping along the river ranges from free
to pretty expensive. We prefer the free stuff. This spot includes
an antique sheep bridge that crosses the river to a great hiking
and goofing off in the water area. There are a variety of fish
willing to join you for dinner in the river too. |

This rustic spot comes with power and
water on some friends property near Moyie Springs Idaho. |

|
This spot we came across near Havre
Montana. It is a beautiful lake and folks were pulling fish out of
it. Since we were only over-nighting I didn't try my luck. |

This is in a Western Horizons RV park
above (and we do mean above) Mosier Oregon. It is just north of
the Columbia river and a great base for exploring the Dales and
Hood River areas. | |

This shot is of the Red River
Fairgrounds in Fargo North Dakota. The colors appear a bit off.
This is because the photo was taken after 10 PM by the light of
the lightning flash. They get some great storms out that way! |

This is my friend Gene McCall showing
some medium duty truck owners his new hitch. |
|

 |
|
This is the entrance to D-Square, the
place they make the McCall Air-Ride Hitch System. It is about five
miles north of Columbus New Mexico and south of Deming. |
|
| |
 |
|
When a bunch of "big truck" folks go
out to dinner parking may become a bit scarce. Our get-togethers
in Columbus come close to outnumbering the population. |

Since I had the banner, I got to lead
the Escapees RV Club Big Sky Chapter (Montana, Wyoming, Southern
Idaho) contingent in the Choteau Montana 4th of July parade. If
you need a place to park over the 4th or any time try out their
city park. Nice spots, water and dump nearby for a $5.00 donation
per night. | |
| |
 |
|
We like Quartzsite Arizona. We hosted
a rally for the Escapees RV Club Wash Pan Chapter (Washington and
Idaho panhandle) | |
| |
 |
|
Why not have a few friends over for a
campfire. Broken pallets are free for the taking and make a great
fire. We got about 10 coffee cans of nails out of the ashes before
we pulled out. | |
| |
 |
|
Some friends had a Escapees rally on
their property above Lake Coeur d' Alene in Idaho. They come close
to having the worlds best sunsets. |

When you decide to try white water
rafting the river below Flathead lake in Montana is great. Because
of the construction of the dam the water is very warm. Good for
floating, not so good for the fish, they are looking for ways to
fix the problem. | |
| |
 |
|
I kept telling friends how great my
hitch was, he bought one and hauled it up to Lake Koocanusa near
Libby Montana and told me that I was scheduled to help him install
it. A couple hours later it was in and the old one was ready to
become a boat anchor. | |

The worlds largest waterfall, between
Grand Coulee dam and Soap Lake in Washington state. You have to
see the film they show to believe the size of the waterfall when
it was running. The amount of water was fantastic, this cliff
didn't even leave a ripple on the surface as Lake Spokane drained
again and again over the years shaping central Washington. |
