The slide out walls in an Automate fifth-wheel are made from a sandwich of fiberglass, plywood, structural foam and interior paneling with an internal aluminum frame. The roof is a sandwich of rubber roofing, plywood, structural foam, plywood and ceiling fabric with an internal aluminum frame. The floor is a sandwich of plastic vapor barrier, plywood, structural foam and plywood flooring with an internal aluminum frame. The foam is hand cut to fit each opening in the aluminum framing to eliminate air gaps and cold spots. Each piece is glued and pressed to insure a solid structure.
