| The cabinets in an
Automate fifth-wheel are made from solid wood framing covered with
a sheet of interior paneling, either wood-grain or patterned. Each
piece is glued and pressed to insure a solid structure. Corners
are screwed together with aluminum brackets and covered with a
replaceable plastic trim cap. Automate provides two types of
cabinet doors, the standard manufactured wood, or the upgrade
raised oak panels. You can have either, or some of both. We
decided to have all the doors oak except for the ones next to the
shower. |

The individual pieces will be stapled together before the paneling
is glued on. | |

Since each cabinet is a custom fit to
your trailer the wood shop foreman and the draftsman are involved
with the wood-workers at every stage of the cabinet construction. |

Once the frame and paneling are glued
together and pressed they trim any required openings for drawers,
doors and hardware. The skill of cutting only the required holes
is greatly valued by the framing and paneling folks. Any errors in
cutting mean that another piece needs to be made, they didn't cut
a single extra hole while they were doing our trailer! |

After the holes are cut the edges are
sanded and any excess glue is removed before the panels are sent
to the trailer for installation. |
